Completing My First Logo

Today I finished a happy version of my first hand done logo. I haven’t always been proud of the work I have done in the past, but with this logo, I feel pretty good. It is not as simple as some companies but I was more proud of what it represented. I sort of made it an unusual steampunk kind of theme, and I am sure it will change a few times over the years.

So… one of the big downfalls I had this month was a company I use for my products had messed up a few things with the photos and I had to remove about 15 listings from Amazon. Now I am very careful and very particular about my business and how I use keywords, SEO structures, along with trademark research and with following Amazon’s terms of service. It takes roughly about 4 hours to do each listing and to make sure it is just the way I want it. I get why a lot of people give up, nothing was more frustrating than watching all those hours go down the drain. Especially working 2 jobs and trying to work on my site with spotted free time here and there. I hate to pull this card, but oddly enough it was for the best. I ended up not reuploading those designs I originally had and took a different direction. It was a bit of a loss but I have a set of new designs that will be a big plus in the long run.

The Elusive Heart logo is a heart broken into 3 parts. Part one is a clock representing time we have as a person. The second part is the shattered side representing being broken. Not necessarily a broken heart from a breakup, but a broken heart from a rough past and imperfect life. The bottom part is a keyhole that is locked for the things we hold dear to us and we keep as secrets.
